My daily running program involves 30 minutes of running. I do not know if this is normal or not, but I have numb feet when running. Not initially, but after about ten minutes or so.
Have you heard of a similar problem? If so, what would be the cause?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your question about your foot going numb when running.
Numbness in feet when running usually has something to do with your shoes. There are several possible reasons for this:
Your shoelaces may be too tight, obstructing your normal blood circulation, which in turn makes your foot numb when running.
Your shoes may be too tight. Your running shoes are supposed to be half a size bigger than your regular shoe size to provide comfortable room for your feet and to not hinder your blood circulation. Some shoes also come with a small toe-box. Or maybe you have wider feet that need wider shoes.
Your running shoes may not provide enough stability. The impact when your feet reaches the ground puts pressure on your feet, so you should make sure that your running shoes supports shock absorption, in order to lessen the pressure and avoid having numb feet when running.
So maybe you can fix this by just not lacing up too tightly. If not, check out my running shoes-section for information about your foot type and plenty of running shoe reviews.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Dominique
