I had the Nike Sportband but I didn't find it very useful. It just let me track my pace and calories burned.
It was useful during my first few months of running, but now I am looking for a smarter tool.
I specifically needed a heart rate monitor. I decided to get the Adidas miCoach Pacer because I could use it with my iPod.
It is great to have the heart rate monitor function there. Aside from the heart rate monitor, I love that it has an audible voice that guides me in my running. I always use the "coaching" mode because the voice gives me direct feedback on my running.
On top of all that, it also syncs to my computer so I can easily track my fitness progress and look at how my run went.
I didn't have technical difficulties in navigating through the features. It is user-friendly and effective.
The Adidas miCoach Pacer is like my running mentor and I would recommend it to those who are looking for a good-looking modern heart rate monitor.
